I miss him so,
as the quiet moon sets to the west.
I remember when he picked me up and threw me into the cold wintry snow,
I guess, putting my patience to a test.
I miss him so,
as we depart for only a short while.
For I know he isn't one of my foes,
even though he has to leave me here; go.
I miss him so,
but yet he shall be but a few hours away.
Yet, now I sit in my sheltered quay,
waiting until I can hold him and have a nice dance, where we can both sway.
I miss him so!

I like this poem.its very good.

Yes it is kinda. It is a very sweet poem and I have been at the point where I had to leave a loved one for an extended period of time. I appreciate the entry in my contest and good luck.

Aw... This is so short and sweet. I would suggest that you try to keep all the lines the same length and such, so that it flows well.. But, in this poem, it really doesn't matter. They are beautiful all in all.
Wonderful job
Best of luck in your contests

I like this, the ideas and emotions you've given it, and how each stanza kind of describes a different aspect that makes you "miss him so!"
Great write.
