Flowing through the untouched veins with shivering beauty
Like a soft kiss, with an electric aftershock
The backbone of it pounding through
Arising sadness
The subtle undertones like the spring rain
Pulling you into a world of clarity
Smooth but jagged lyrics cutting to the quick
Leaving the victim scarred and broken
Yet renewed
Unable now to die.
Author notes
I'm a die-hard music fan (meaning, of course, only real music, like rock. That's about it).
