Christmas Day!

It's that beautiful time of the year,
when Christmas day is almost here.
The children every where,
are almost ready for that special day.
St.Nicholas is checking his list,
to see who was naughty or nice.
Rudolph is almost ready to take,
a sleigh ride in the winter snow.
Angels bend low and catch a falling star,
and put it atop a tree.
People every where with merry thoughts,
as they go along their way.
It's the perfect time of the year,
to be giving and receiving good cheer.
But most of all is remembering,
God's precious son Jesus.
Who was born in a manger a long time ago.
And his love for every one!

What great imagery used in this piece!
"Angels bend low and catch a falling star,
and put it atop a tree."
This brought about alot of wonderful Christmas memories, and I really enjoyed reading this one!

so very many people forget the true meaning of Christmas. They get so stressed over buying gifts, getting trees, lighting candles, baking cookies, etc., and they don't stop and think about exactly what they're celebrating. Awesome expression, great job. The true meaning of Christmas.
    Happy Holidays!
