Josh

It was a Cool Day
Early November
I got a call
I Remember
What I heard
I couldnt cry
I was in shock
To hear you died
I ran down the feild
I grabbed the kids
I could tell them whats wrong
But thats not what I did
I cried as their questions
Soared through the air
I buckled the carseats
And hoped you were there
We drove down the highway
Until I saw the lights
Your bike was in half
Your body on the right
I found my big sister
Crumpled down so small
Screaming for Josh
Who Couldnt hear her at all
You had to ride at that funeral
Why couldnt you stay
Instead my sis had to watch
The Corener take you away
Your service was beautiful
The best I've Ever seen
There were tons of people there
But Em was in a dream
You made the front cover
The day you died
And the days after
We just couldnt hide
Your smiling face
Did the paper display
It showed your braces
On graduation day
In the Obituary
as your bride
Is my big sister
Who Still stands by your side
I couldnt come with
When they placed you in the ground
I had to stay with Natalie
And calm her down
Almost six months later
Does our family still grieve
On your 23rd Birthday
A song you recieved
Even though we miss you
we still must move on
Josh we all love you
I still can't believe that your gone

    This gave me goosebumps,
    So much grieve, but a beautifully written poem.
    Your rhyming was excellant and it just flows really well..

    Im sorry for your loss..My deepest graditude.
    He must have lived a happy life, to be loved by such amazing and inspiring poeple.

    This is a well written piece and so full of memories
    and yet so very sad it's never easy to lose someone you love.
