Before a darkness I was borne
Traveled, laden and weather worn
Bring with me the cold and night
But twas always marveled by the sight
For my eyes were always on the morn
In its skies the sun did adorn
And to I struggled and tried to fight
Staying always ahead of the night
Radiant rays of sun spun hair
And pale, smooth skin do I bear
Dancing on shadows I do delight
Summoned by suns warm invite
So swiftly I run and chill the air
Never to catch the sun I do despair
For I'm never quite day and never quite night
Hail yon traveler, my name be Twilight
I don't know if anyone will like this or not, but if you would read it I would appreciate the gesture.

This is beautiful, I love every line. The seamless rhyme and rhythm, as well as the wonderful description and wording, make this a truly lovely piece. I enjoyed reading this very much, the mythical tone and diction made sure of that.
