Into darkness

Flames dance
And burn out
Softly
In those eyes

I watch
Still just waiting

Author notes

I wrote this with the Earth in mind, thinking how many people say they want to help it but do nothing. I'm trying to do something, but what can I do? Hopefully that'll get answered.

    This sounds like a little children's song or a small little tune or something... and I love the repetition of "all around me" And I know the feeling of wanting to help but not knowing what to do...
