A Prayer For Fire Station One




Lord, I ask, as the sun does shine
to grant this request of mine
That your Angels will protect today
the ones who stand in harm's way
To see that others are safe and well
What they go through, only you can tell
The brave sacrifice, they always make
Each call is a risk, for them to take
My dear friends at Fire Station One
The A.C.F.D., they get the job done
My younger brother, is part of the crew
Of his great courage, I always knew
So, God, as this family of fire fighters go
and climb into their vehicles, let them know
that they aren't alone, in each step of the day
Let your Heavenly company guard them, I pray
                    ~AMEN~
