That I to fight the power of an element so fierce,
Its flames to bid me quench its fire,
Yet of my heart to pierce!
I pray the step of fear I take, within this elements midst,
Its beauty burns within a cloud,
Its wish my flesh to kiss.
That I my body to gift to scorch, and roast within its wake,
And even if the heart of me its nature it to take.
If all I am in simple form to burn and black to death,
I know my God my task be true,
For this fire the Devils breath!
No hell to me of my demise, within this fate I find,
No misconception of the truth, to leave my heart behind,
I fight the fire that Hades send, to ever thee be true.
My faith that life thy wishes me,
The fire I pursue!
