Goodbye

Maybe enough is enough
Sometimes its too much
When you listen but do not hear
Time flies by right through your fingers
Slipping like a grain of sand
The hourglass runs cold
In times of new, and times of old
You told me your history
Yet somehow your still a mystery
I cry out to be heard
Yet no one is listning
I feel they can hear
But the noise is just that
Noise, in the background
a thing to be ignored
yes, It can be trying
yet somehow you keep me from dying
or cause it yourself
on the inside
I cry out
And cry inside
The last remnant of my heart just died
Too late, long gone
One last word, one last song
Goodbye, goodbye
Confusion reigns supreme
Over your hopes and your dreams
The crystal is darkened
The river ran dry
Its too soon
But still too late
To say goodbye.
