A Mongolian dealer in koumiss
Told his daughter: "I'm angry with you, Miss!
Last night's supper was spoiled,
For the tea was not boiled,
And the dumplings were sticky as glue, Miss!"

Author notes
I imagine most people know that koumiss is a (very) alcoholic drink made from fermented mares' milk, but you may not be aware that dumplings are the classic Mongolian dish for all occasions...
And -- although I have several more "Mongolian" limericks in my repertoire (part of a divertissement at the Mongolian studies conference in, I think, 1987), I promise not to enter any more here!

His daughter’s voice came from the yurt:
“To say the least, you’re very curt!
No need to be cocky –
Those dumplings were gnocchi,
Green tea is drunk tepid – I’m hurt!”
