Rocking gently to the melody
of my strumming on the six
string, as I bellow out a
love song just for you
The night is so serene, here
in this rural land, so far
away from the big city lights
and traffic, it's just you
and me and my guitar and
this swing under the stars
You lay your head back and
close your eyes, you're so
taken by my gesture, but I
am even more taken by the
way you look tonight, my
lady, my lover, oh my...

This poem is so moving..My one of my favorite parts
it's just you
and me and my guitar and
this swing under the stars
You lay your head back and
close your eyes, you're so
taken by my gesture, but I
am even more taken by the
way you look tonight, my
lady, my lover, oh my...
Those few lines just make this poem.....Who ever you were or are doing this for...Must be special.....

Now this poem had a very beautiful ending. So full of love and desire. Loved it all.

Lovely! I don't know if there's a woman who wouldn't like to be serenaded by her man. You captured the essence of music and of romance so sensually, that I am in awe! This truly is a beautiful read. BRAVO! Good luck in the contest.
