Robots in disguise
Close my eyes and I cry inside
Make the water colder
So I’m frozen in the dark
Sink into the shade
Smoke lingers not too far
Set the temperature yet lower
And I’m all about being weak
For tonight, when I’m getting bored
The virus has sucked me dry
My skin’s turned blue, now hear me cry

A new cavity seeps in
I snuggle in and sleep
And when the six hits the two
I’m numb through and through
I’ve lost the will to live
More pins and needles yet to give
Mislead down this road
And it’s back to square one
Where I’m stuck in this crowd
Wavering until I drown
Sinking lower and lower
Now the universe is calling out
In some forgotten space and time
I’ve left myself behind

Floating further and further away
And the earth is just blue
