To know you is to live within
The comfort of a home
With fire casting warmth and light
Here always I’m welcomed
I brush my shoes out on the stoop
I’m careful of my tread
I try my best to always treat
You with the most respect
For once you track the dirt inside
It never does come out
And here I’d always like the chance
To be allowed come back
