Wow. This is so very true. My sister was always on dating sites, she visited several. She would read pages upon pages of prospective men she would want to have contact with. She never met anyone she clicked with. A few months ago, she met a man who works in the apartment complex she lives in, and they really hit it off and began dating. My sis is 52yrs old, and her manfriend is 27yrs old. I was a bit shocked to find that out, but only wish them well.
I would rather meet a man in person, and if we click, we do; if we don't, we don't. I don't think I could bring myself to choose a man based on a profile pic and what they say is the truth about who they are.
This is really a powerful message you have sent out here, and I applaud you for speaking the truth.

Hilarious, yet slightly disturbing. My mom met several of her husbands on line, and they did not work out.

i think this is a really interesting concept- and one that could be fleshed out with a bit more thought. For instance I'm not sure the flow of this version is smooth enough to ellicit the response you want from the reader. While the images are really provocative, they almost feel like interruptions rather than additions to your 'point'. I wouldn't suggest cutting them out altogether, but perhaps you could try rearranging them? Maybe to the end of the piece? or just at the beginning as a sort of 'appetizer' to your poem?

Not sure really, I just feel that the idea is so complex and really poignant that it deserves to be presented in the best way possible.

Cheers for a new perspective, and good luck.
