Touch and feel,
see what is real.
Is it really there?
Or all in the mind?
Hologram
or a mirage?
Like a ghost in the night,
reality blurs with fantasy.
Reaching out
into thin air.
Such a gifted magician,
it isn't fair.
Life is a revolving door,
people moving in and out.
They aren't real anymore.
Friendship is just a chore.

I like your rhyming incorporation and the imagery!
"Life is a revolving door,
people moving in and out." AMAZING metaphor it sounds so philosophical you know?

Oh my goodness
Friendships are what we make them to be and a true friend wont just let it be .They are there through thick and thin from the beginning till the end

wonderful word choice to create images and emotions from the one word prompt, but you have already qualified for round 1 in the previous audition segment. I am glad that the prompt inspired you to write though.

yes, too many of us feel the same way. reaching out, this life is real, with all the things we see, touch, smell and feel. we need to spend more time enjoying this life, for soon it could be gone, and what then do we have? I liked the thoughts here.
