Too much Mosaic
Like everything else
It enters
I should not be so surprised
I myself live inside
As such I should see it coming
I usually don’t
The obvious
By its very nature (is)
Mostly overlooked
Like everything else
Also this
-these-
Inwards shattering glasses
Your outside world
My faults
Failings
So much mosaic
Circumferences,
of such materials
Well, yes they do
(when improperly vented)
Pursuant to pressures
Explode
Of course that’s an outsiders view
My peripheries
implode
Still, as always
It is my eyes that
(even though looking afar)
Find ways to get caught up
In the shards
Through the looking crass
Violence to the pupil
Indeed a learning experience
I’m so happy
(for at the very least)
The eyes are quick to heal.

I really enjoyed the imagery in this piece. It never fails to amaze me where our inspiration can come from.

Very interesting write indeed! This seemed perfect for one of Carol's contests too... She like it from the far edge!!! Well done!
