You melted my heart

With the crunch of the sand under our bare feet
slowly fading, you turn to me and smile.
Every touch sends shivers over my body
with the grace of ballet dancers on a stage
and then I see my dream reflecting in your eyes.

With my hair gently blowing in the breeze
a solitary tear begins to trickle down my cheek
you lean forward brushing your lips across my skin,
I tremble, leaning into you as you take my weight.

You let your love ripple across my heart
like the moonbeams that float upon the waves
and as the night sky glistens hung with diamonds
we listen as the waves send a chorus of voices
and we get lost in our sea of desire.

You gently lay me on the sand placing my head on your knee
stopping for a moment to look at me with large liquid eyes,
then your voice sinks slowly to a husky whisper
‘I’ll always want the same as you my darling’ you say
it was then that I fell under your spell.

So out of the smoldering shadows of my past
the most magical dream of all has risen
daring the shadows to strike is you my love,
As your lips touch mine, we reach for the stars
and you carry me to the edge of the moon.

    Tasteful and Romantic

Generally speaking, I hate poems like this... But you do it well, so youve made me like this. Well done.
I'm a fan of imagery and you use it without quite crossing the line of cheezy of sappy.
    I'm impressed.
