All I get is a crackle on the line
barely hear the words you say,
when you speak I get tingles up my spine
wish you weren't so far away.
Hanging on seems forever and a day
want to rip it off the wall,
never knowing if I'll see you again
always waiting for your call.
Long distance love is tearing us apart
hate feeling lost and alone,
Will I ever see your dear face again?
our love wasted on the phone.

If only we could truly reach through those phone lines..

Beautifully written of a struggle so many must endure when it comes to a long distant relationship
My best to you in the contest!!

Long distance love can be very painful and frustrating at times. The only thing with the poem I notived is that beginning the 3rd stanza that flow is kinda broken. Your rhyme structure though Is well done and doesnt come across as being to cliche or forced. Although not totally what I was expecting you have done a good job. Good luck in the contest and thans for the entry.

been there, done that, long distance love is at best difficult...
it can however be very good too!
good luck in the contest!
