While standing amongst the wind,
my light shines bright
like the beacon
hanging low
the waters stir, somewhat darker
Always, have I admired
light-houses
for they stand alone,
proud with a gleam
over the sea
guiding the boats into shore.
Now, that I know
my mission
in life
there are no waves
I just stand in my
light, and gleem - for joy.
I am covered by HIS grace
by His righteousness
and His mercy till heavens gate.

I just love lighthouses too - they've played quite a role in my life thus far. I can see the Cape St Blaize lighthouse from almost all the windows of my house and on foggy nights I hear the foghorn. Loved the metaphor you've applied here, Tamara... your lighthouse is built on solid rock.

When in darkness one seeks light
When one's wronged they seek the right
When in sorrow they seek peace
For opposites do bring release
When the conflict brings the pain
One again we rearrange
Seeking balance through inner store
The place where both are found and more
Hugs...Eddy
