Her heart was taken from her she had no say
and with it went all hope and strength far away,
she hopes in vain it will return without pain
but I believe her waiting will be in vain,
sorrowful eyes impart a message too plain.
Lost forever gentle heart that beat with love
alone, unloved, no direction from above,
she sits forever patient not giving in
planning how to beat this tragedy and win,
wondering how, where and when she must begin.
Reclaim her heart she must or die a sad death
maybe the ice will melt against her warm breath?
a fading beat, minutes tick as time runs out
so very hard to turn this evil about,
too frightened to cry impossible to shout.
