my life is dark and clouded
filled with unhappiness and doubt
the ache of regret inside me
overflows with passion to be freed
from my shyness
my weakness
my awkwardness
i cry for help
no one is listening
no one can hear me
i break
i cry
i sob
i weep
isn't anybody there?
doesn't anybody care?
can't anybody see,
the pain that's stabbing at me
the loss that's smothering me
the love thats throttling me
my heart is turning to stone again
as it takes hit after hit
returning to the sharp shyness of my past
it burns my soul
can't u hear it screaming
can't you see it fading
can't you it feel it dying
my eyes show the torment inside
my mind at war with itself
tearing itself apart
ripping itself to shreds
crushing itself in dispair
is anybody listening?
is anybody watching?
is anybody careing?
will anybody save me?
