Winter's Sorrow

Isolated from you,
Withdrawn from life.
I await your return,
To my heart.
Heavily I hold on to our dreams,
Until you return to my heart.
Encased in crystal,
Frozen it will stay.
Until then it remains,
Frozen like the world around me.
Awaiting the heat of your body,
To melt my soul away.
When you take me in your arms,
And carry my spirit upwards.
Winter's Sorrow No more.

you have taken this prompt and formed a master piece of emotions...the sadness held as the pain seeped into the heart...and as the winter encases the land so did the cold encase your heart...sighs...just love it!!! congrats on the bronze but should of been gold
