Your eyes searched for me
I can't see you in my dreams anymore
You words passed over me
I don't want you to be with me right now
You tried to find me
But I need to be alone somehow
I tried to forget you
And now I am in denial
There must be a way
Where I can erase my thoughts of you
I don't want you to stay
I see all the things that we've been through
Now I have found a way
To let someone else into my life
You broke my heart in two
But now I know what is right.

So very well done here on the idea of dreams, holding on to dreams, and letting go of things that limit us, make our days less happy; a difficult part of growing up for me was learning to let go of things that I still wanted, so this poem speaks to our deeper feelings.
