Shuffled in high gear sloping the mystery cup,
Who will get when/what? gusied and layered up.
There's a finite line you see, hidden discreetly
Permanently, shadows flow, missing in intensity.
These are the wonder's mist, causing the rifts.
Clogging the system's peaks, getting no drifts.
Amazing river walk, no one but the one can talk.
He knows the ragged way, stages precede the walk.
There is an inside thing, to life's tinted glean.
One must just shoulder up, there'll be more scenes.
Catch of the day will be, just a portion of dignity.
Look for the in-betweens, between layered indignities.
This secret is coming out, others will catch the reel.
Make this a final deal and you'll see just who is real.
What's trapped beneath the flow? dig to reveal/to know.
You may be surprised to view, what's in the middle row.

I like your message and it is so true. The surface doesn't tell the truth, especially in women who put make-up on with a pallet knife. ( But, unfortunately, men are foolish enough to believe what they see.) The rhyme is good except in the last two lines of the first stanza, and the last two lines in the third in which you are really rhyming the same word. The flow is basically very good. All in all I like this poem.
Thanks for entering.
Just in case you decide to edit, I will not judge until I have read all of the poetry again. ~ Joyce -
A very fun poem to read it just flowed so well and had just the right rhyme. Definantly brings a smile.
