Should his voice be far
from my needful ear,
oh wind, could your whisper;
mimic his sigh
with tender strokes
through my tresses?
Touch my heart,
if only for an instant
as I savor simple syllables
of loves lullaby
in borrowed breath.

I held my breath when reading this beautiful poem. There is one-ness of dream and yearning. A touch of metaphor and personification. I have this prayer that it will happen for you!

You have used beautiful imagery here and such soft, lilting phrases. Yes, to me, the wind most definitely can mimic his whisper, his touch... such a perfect comparison. "Borrowed breath..." ahhhhhh. Dreamy. Love the personification here.
As for us both writing on wind.... well, great minds....and romantic women . . . .
