As much an aphorism as a poem. The centred words give it a concrete shape, reinforcing the fact that it is presented as a work of art, not merely a thought. I am surprised this didn't take you onto the podium.

There are no wasted words here. Clear and pointed, it rings with a truth that can be really frightening. To realize a silent force behind the power can strangle your future.

You have the most fertile and brilliant ideas for splendid poems, dear one. I think your poetry is some of the smartest I've seen, with ideas that would cause English Literature classes to write lengthly essays.

Thank you for the wonderful comment! I find it much easier to write if I have pictures to stir my thoughts..
