Though life gives us many stumbling blocks,
with Jesus we can always overcome.
We shouldn't look at our circumstances,
but have faith, and trust in the glorious One.
Surroundings may look gloomy and dark,
the situation a lost cause doomed to decay.
Satan wants us to see a "no way out" sign,
instead of the "I am the Light and the Way."
God loves each and everyone of us equally,
He is no respecter of persons, we're all the same.
Together we can join in giving Him thanksgiving,
and humbly praise His holy and precious name.
