I hear your name whispered across the forest floor,
Floating by on the lips of fairy wings and in the laughter of imps dancing.
A harmonic melody,
Bringing life to my deepest hopes.
Life blooms around me upon the thought of you,
For the rose in my hand glistens with the drops of your tears.
Yet grown by the memories of your years,
Each peddle as fragile as your heart beat.
Each gust of wind carrying you closer to me,
Whistling through the tree’s like a song to my ears.
Like the sound of you breathing my name,
Against the leaves on the forest tree’s.
Their branches reaching out as if to embrace you,
Welcoming you home as if they’ve known you for eternity.
Your essence a radiant light,
The life to the forest.
So vivid…
So breathtaking…
As I lay my head down upon the forest floor,
Dreams of you dance though my head as light as fairy feet.
Making me wish you were in my arms,
Endlessly breathing my name in my ear.
Let my world surround you my love,
Let me make you forget your sorrows.
Just take my hand and I can make it better,
For I can give you wings to fly and put the star’s in your eyes.
