the rape crisis line received a call
the description dark and tall
the crime of course was rape
she knew him it was their fifth date
he ran and ran when he was done
the whole time saying i love you hun
the story she told to the counselor was true
and she decided there was something else she could do
she told the line before it went dead
that she was going to put a bullet in his head
she hung up and off she went
this was her way to repent
she called him and said meet me at my place
when she saw him she couldn't look him in the face
she pointed the gun and emptied every bullet
only one of them missed
it ricocheted off the wall and hit a mirror
her cracked reflection had never been clearer
this is what happened because she got smacked
this is what happens when the punching bag punches back

Wow! This hit hard for reason in my past, although I never tryed to kill anyone! If you ever have been put in this situation. But this is what we feel like we need to do, most of us just don't have the guts to do it. Thank you for sharing this wonderfully written piece that is full of truth!
