Never seen were things
so full of the world
yet risen within the man
walls between all that
had been or might be again,
and unseen were the wounds that
bled souls and spirits, not admitted
like lies on a courtroom floor
stern eyes beneath blindfold
over scales without balance
for chance calls in a tiny voice
and love meeker still beneath
thresholds of will, let me in;
let the healing...begin.

Thank You!!
Thank You for Your entry: Healing
This piece tugged at Spirit and Your lines are fine
for if it was like a bajillion lines then we would have to talk
Now believe it or not...
I was seeing The Froozles Show:
Really wild
but while reading Your verse several times...
seeing Sesame Street and Pee Wees Playhouse
Being shown a reference to...going back to childhood
days...safer...Innocence
Not judged by performance~
expectations from Society....seeing a sandbox...
Hearing the words: Erase Hate~
Wonderful images to bring forth a smile
These lines grabbed and pulled~
and unseen were the wounds that
bled souls and spirits, not admitted
like lies on a courtroom floor:
Beautiful take on the prompt~
Thank You for sharing Your Heart also Spirit!
Best wishes to You in the contest Sweet Soul
**Judging will be done shortly...
Many blessings too
and much love~ Desire~*~

They say nothing like a new love to heal wounds caused by a past love...I don't agree. We get to heal on our own only then we can really see when true love comes our way.
But yes, we must be open for new chances. To let THE chance pass by without being noticed is something we might regret later.
'like lies on a courtroom floor'
I so liked that line!
Wonderful poem H.
I hope you have no wounds to be healed
