It's the silence of night when my thoughts roam free,
reliving the moment that's sweet in my mind,
all conciousness focused on one memory;
of you; the one person to whom I'm not blind.
If you were to look into the depths of my eyes
as I've done yours, when you were unaware,
all you'd see reflected amongst starlit skies
is you; hanging ever immortal there.
If you were to walk through my dreams whilst I sleep
you would meet yourself; and with my fools hope me.
Once awake, despairing I hopelessly weep,
but I'll dry my tears, if you say you love me.
