What is worth remembering
with a snap shot of stopped time?
Nobody takes a picture
of something they want
to forget.
Pictures will always
haunt your mind
As they are your memories
of times past and present
The ones you hang on your wall
are the things you use to
lead your thoughts astray
to the time when everything was alright
Before things started to go wrong
life was good.
Those times we remember from all
the games of camera tag,
and the phases of self-obsession
where your camera was full after
one single party.
We try to leave ourselves
with the good times
so that when heaven falls
to hell we can still remember
what happiness looked like.

I like taking pictures so it caught my eye. I thought it would be cool to do this one.
well this went in a very weird direction but i hope you enjoyed it. I like to write things that provoke deep thinking so....

Great write! It is so funny when people look back at pictures and think "We were so happy"... But that's usually because you don't take pictures when your sad. Great piece.

I definately agree with you and the quote, we only take pictures of things we want to remember and like you said, they are a good reminder when times are tough that there was and will be good times, very true.
