Vancouver Sakura (Haiku)

water heavy blooms,
bend low supple knotty boughs;
breezes pink with rain

Author notes

It's spring on the west coast, and during my walk to work, I saw a cherry blossom tree, pink with bloom, boughs bent to eye level in suplication to the spring rains.

It reminded me how in a short time, the rain would be pink with pettals...

Where does it take you?

    youre quite good at this arent you- i think its everything a haiku should be- emotive, fluid imagery-2 applause only because I prefer freeform and more confessional poetry-so 2 out of a possible 2..
