I wish I could wish upon a star,
And be anywhere that you are.
I would fly to the moon, or into the sea,
As long as I'm where you're going to be.
Nothing would stop me from seeing your face,
And you would hold me in your loving embrace.
Alas, I can not wish upon a star,
So, instead, I am stuck far,
From the person whom I most adore,
Left standing on this distant shore.
I will wait for you until the end of time,
Until my mind can't form a rhyme.
Then I'll see you again and I'll be fine,
Knowing I'm your's, and that you're mine.
