The future looks grim and dark
Continuing to grow without appease
Always trying to make bigger and better
Not worrying about what's actually a true need
What happened to the good old days?
When you could just go outside,
To snack on a freshly grown apple
Sit in the grass watching the sunrise and set
Traveling to work with no need for a car
Will it only get worse from here? Only you know

Thank You!!
Thank You for Your entry: Who Makes our Future
This piece tugged at Spirit and touched the Heart for
You asked Magnificent questions...
Will it only get worse from here?
We help make that determination~
and while reading I kept seeing the good old days
when people could leave their doors unlocked...
cars unlocked...be able to walk home from school
without fear of being kidnapped or approached
by a stranger with malicious intent...
Seeing how privately owned businesses
now not so private...having to close shop...
Personable employees seemed to have been replaced
with robotic attitudes...
You posed much to think about
***Just a reminder- please credit Photobucket in Your

These lines grabbed and pulled~
When you could just go outside,
To snack on a freshly grown apple
Sit in the grass watching the sunrise and set
