Perfect Day (in progress)

The woodpecker knocks on my window just in time
I wake up to a bright sunshine
The robin in the tree
Sings a lovely song to me
The neighbor says, "Have a good day!"
And the whole world starts to go my way
I grab my lunch that my mom packed
And it has all my favorite snacks
My brothers and I don't fight at all
I exit and get to the school hall
My crush smiles at me
I pass my algebra test with a B
I forgot to study for science, oh dear
But it turns out, she is not here
