How do you handle
Life changing events
Lives to be taken
Of those who mean the most
My mind refuses
To process the news
Trying to avoid it
Maybe to prevent more pain
It's not like it matters
People are born
And then they die
But shouldn't they be old
Not in their early teens
Years more to live cut short
I don't understand
Nor to I comprehend
What is currently happening
Still in shock
Unable to accept the ending
When will reality kick in
The fact that she's going to die
She will leave me involuntary
One last month to see her
One last chance to prove myself
