Red blooms taste the spray behind
And dance among the branches.
The shimmer of the spray
Catches my eye.
The rapids catch my breath
In a daring display.
It's the flowers
That stay in my heart.
Bright scarlet
And spreading hope.

Hmmm. I've never read about scarlet being a "happy" color before (I'm used to reading about blood. Hahaha.) This poem had great imagery. Thanks for entering =)
