We close a door against foul weather
and open it to a friend.
We use a door for seclusion,
to stay inside,
that we might think profound thoughts.
A metal door clicks shut
upon a prisoner,
guilty or not.
A fortress has tremendous doors.
Dwarfs have little doors.
"Alice in Wonderland" went through a door
of amazement.
The "Three Stoogies" had three doors.
Two doors are one for in and one for out.
"Barbie" dolls have their own door.
Kings have castle doors.
Elevators electronically close you in.
There are thick doors, ornate doors,
red ones, green and brown.
They say behind every door lies an
opportunity.
You think It's true?

great mid-section "A metal door clicks shut
upon a prisoner,
guilty or not.
A fortress has tremendous doors.
Dwarfs have little doors.
"Alice in Wonderland" went through a door"
very in-depth thinking going on in this piece; different aspects to view.
great job, and thanks for entering -
yes that is much better with it
people can read it now wihtout squinting and focus on your words rather than the font
-
a good piece here with the poem though i had to highlight it to read it, maybe change the font of it so it is easily read?
