somebody quick grab a cello
a violin just won't do
please grab a hold of that bow
move away and give me some room
take that bow and slide out a tune
is should be slow and sad
just let me sit across the room
i need my cello when i feel bad
nothing can sound so sweet
as the cello when played well
set it close to you between your feet
play it for me until i melt
listen to that beautiful sound
it always makes me cry
when the keys are perfectly wound
the lulling carries me so high

this was a bunch of fun I do love the cello it has a very soulful sound I don't get to play with them much sadly. I love a good quartet but the wife would get mad lol seriously I have always been fascinated with strings and the sounds they make. fun read
