If I was somebody
surely I would not forget
Like the difference between integrity
and a burning regret
Simple words have been spoken
just a compliment in passing
But it all fades away so fast
in this world all encompassing
Time shall take my memories
to another far off place
And it doesn’t take me long
to forget a pretty face
Not sure of the significants
of a simple ordinary day
I strive to change my life
But I get lost in all the sway
Searching for my identity
I seemed to have lost so long ago
And without all my papers
My existence does not show

The continuense and the consistency is beautiful and fluent through out this piece. The rhyme is simple yet effective. You have produced a mood to momentize the quote nicely.
