Tides of life swirl round me
Unceasing, gentle ripples
I stand against the current.
Unwilling, to succumb to the flow,
Deciding against the normalcy,
I like the feeling of singularity.
The feeling of being completely alone.
Just me, against a depthless ocean,
Upon a rock just big enough for one.
I gaze up at the crowds of stars,
Seeing all, and dreaming of tomorrow,
Where, time ceases, and the sun cries.
Following the path of the moon,
My soul treads lightly,
A solitary dance, to unheard music.
My heart holds the secrets of the world,
And I stand, alone, and gather them
Into little silken clumps of colour.
I am, just me, one dreamer
Against a world of reality,
And I am unseen.

I like the images you poem presents to the mind. Calm and self sufficient for such delicate moments.
Thanks for entering,

Lovely flow and wonderful take on the prompt...very touching and strong in it's moment of oneness...as there is a special quality in being you and just you...perfect ending...
Best to you!
