we grow to honor each other
in spirit, heart and trust
yes it takes time
but we will make it through
slowly love will finds it way
to make us one
yes I know we've both had those pasts where memories lie
yet somehow we managed to find each other
and now our time has come
what will out future be?
that's up to us as our hearts grow stronger
finally joining as one
so lets find a way to complete each other
as we celebrate our love
then somehow find what destiny has set before us my love

I'm afraid to love again
It's not your fault
That I am distant;
Cold.
I have been hurt--
Abused--
Until the point of paranoia
I trust again
Only to be dropped
Hard.
It's not you
It's me
I'm only scared--
Paranoid.
Help me:
Gain my trust--
My love.
I miss being able to love
With no holding back
Will you be the man to save me
From my fears?

I read a lot of things that are cliche, no doubt about it. But you've taken a subject that everyone wants to write about, and made it not-so-cliche and so much more lovely.
I like this a lot.
I think I have a correction for you, though.
"what will out future be?"
do you mean "our" instead of "out"?
