It hurts
Not to see
Your deep brown eyes
It kills
To miss a day
When your presence warms
My chilled heart
It burns
Not to hear
Your whispered love melodies
After all I had to face
All the lies that hid
Somehow I can’t forget you
Having to live
Without you
Is like a body without its soul
But my life goes on
Believing that it’ll all
Get better soon
Scars will heal
When the time is right
And I’ll just wait,
Smiling
Coz I deserve to

we have to believe it'll get better...or we'll dwell, and those scars will never heal.
we all deserve to smile =) -
I love the strength of this piece. There is so much here that I am glad about- I love the powerful voice you carry throughout, your never-ending faith that holds to the very last word and the loveliness of it all.
