Angels cried today
because of the chaos in the world
they wondered why
nobody could hear them
nobody could see them
why they had been forgotten
Jesus cried today
because of the chaos in the world
he wondered why
he had endured all of our pain
only so we would suffer
from others thoughtless words and ways
God almighty himself cried today
because the chaos in the world
he wondered why
we would violate the beauty he created
why we would not open the eyes of our hearts
A child cried today
because of the chaos in the world
he wondered why
he could not play today
Author notes
I thought of this poem when a mother told me that she rarely let's her 7 year old outside because a neighbor is a registered sex offender, and has exposed himself to kids. and she won't let her play with the neighbor kids because their parents do drugs and cuss infront of the kids. Now her daughter doesn't play that much at all outside with kids..she just studies for school. i feel so bad. society has gotten out of control just in general. What does God think about this. and then i thought..what's going to happen when i have children?!
This poem is rather simple, but i hope, its affective.

Oh this one brought tears to my eyes. This is exactly how much of society is today and the ones that deserve the best seem to suffer the most.
