and her parents named her Chloe.
But God didn't realize that without her sweet soul
how sad and lonely heaven would be.
Each second without her presence
to God was an eternity.
Even though he knew she was
a tremendous blessing to her family.
God cried without her,
oh what hell heaven could be.
And all the angels of heaven
were aware of God's extreme misery.
So when he could no longer stand it
he called his favorite angel home.
And all of heaven is rejoicing as God smiles
as he looks down from his throne.
For there at his feet is his favorite angel Chloe.
Now he know's she is truly heaven's HEART AND SOUL
and just her presence makes him so very happy.
God's only regret is that he ever let her go.
But not all of heaven rejoices
for Jesus felt the families pain.
He took on the worlds sins, miseries and sorrows.
For his sacrifice he has scars that still remain.
Knowing they had been plunged into the well of sorrow
driven to it's very deepest depth.
For Chloe's Family and friends
Jesus wept.
But Jesus also knows that one day they will walk
the streets of heaven and what a blessing it will be.
For they will once again all be reunited
with God's favorite angel Chloe.
Author notes
An AP poet on this site lost her granddaughter and was seeking other poets to write how they were touched by this and I just wanted to hopefully bring them any comfort I possibly could. I know I would be totally destroyed if I where in her situation and could only think to try and answer the question everyone asks when a small child or young person dies. WHY WOULD GOD TAKE THEM. So these are my possible thoughts at an answer. and hopes that it in even the smallest way brings comfort to a another hurting poets soul

A beautiful poem. I hope that it comforted the woman and her family for whom it was made. God is our comfort and strength, a very important aspect of knowing who he is is knowing you can rely on him in times of trouble. Thank you for entering.
