Here at the day care for the United Nation’s staff
Although we all come from diverse cultures and places,
we here all speak the same language
We make it known when we are hungry
We scream loudly to get our way.
One has to pity to poor photographer who was hired to capture our image.

I am not a poet. I have found I am addicted to this site. I write to gain points in order to have the points enough to be able to run my own inspirational contest. I so dearly love it when I post a picture, and poets are inspired by this to write poems. I can't get enough of it! If anyone has some extra points kicking around, I have ideas for many contests that I do not have points to run. If I am donated points, it is my pledge that I will make good use of them in running new contests. Thank you.

Great observation, JB. I agree with last commenter who said to break up the last line. Keep up the great work.

For not being a poet this is a very good peice! I hope you become one in your mind, because I think you already are. This made me My only suggestion is to break the last line into 2 lines...it is a bit long and distrupts the flow of the poem. Ironically the last line is also my favorite line. Thank you for entering and good luck in my contest.
