The rainbow's endless path
Leads to mystery
What lies beyond the shimmering mountain?
What treasure am I seeking -or is it a treasure?
This journey is now over for
The road is never-ending -or is it?
Now I see the end!
The prize!
Glittery mist -what does it hide?
Shall I rush to uncover the
Secret?
Now that I know,
The journey was fruitless,
For at the end of the myriad of beauty
Lies nothing but memories.
Memories of unsuspecting travelers
Who sought after Man and Women's greatest prize-
Memories of grievous thoughts-
Where is my pot of gold?
My endless riches?
But nigh,
All that lies at the end of the fool's trail-
A writhing cauldron of lost hope
Author notes
I know it's kind of depressing... But that's what I was inspired to write! I hope you like it. I am eleven.

It's fine. As long as it comes from inside you, that's all that matters. Thanks for entering, Vivien.
Good luck.
