The sky is a mass of storm clouds
Above is the way to heaven

I am not a poet. I have found I am addicted to this site. I write to gain points in order to have the points enough to be able to run my own inspirational contest. I so dearly love it when I post a picture, and poets are inspired by this to write poems. I can't get enough of it! If anyone has some extra points kicking around, I have ideas for many contests that I do not have points to run. If I am donated points, it is my pledge that I will make good use of them in running new contests. Thank you.

Thank you for your entry, you have given an exact description of the picture...however I would have liked to have seen some emotion and imagery expressed...I would personally expand on each line, build on them, and use them to form their own stanzas...this piece has got great potential...I like the title, and especially the line, 'Waves eminate from my feet', which would also make a great title, there is so much you could write about that one line alone, thank you

Yes, there are two parts to us, body and soul; liked the way your explained this in these lines; unique take on the picture prompt in this contest. Most people on this site are poets; some just don't know it yet! LOL
