Since you are gone, unable to be seen
My maroon heart is ever shrinking
Frailer than candle light on a windy day
Ready to be put out by the slightest mistreatment
As it floats, cut from suffering trying to beat
Not wanting to be connected anymore
Agony from immense pain that's never ending
As you left me, but not on free will
There was something I wanted to say
You were my life my one true love
I sit here dying inside feeling forsaken
As you watch me silently from above
You are my lover and always will be forever
Please let me join you so we can be together
